I've dabbled with companion planting in the past, and even though I'm not always convinced of the benefits and it can make rotating crops a little difficult, it's something I'd really like to develop a better system for. Diversity is the cornerstone of developing a sustainable growing system and I think companion planting can help make more efficient use of space. I have a few books on the subject, but this handy-dandy chart will look great posted in my office on the farm. A good reminder to experiment with plantings and think of innovative ways to mix it up!
